This sub-group of the Sun Country Quilters meets every Monday to work on lap quilts that are given out free to community groups such as Head Start, Meals on Wheels, Alternatives to Violence, Child Protective Services, First Time Mother's Group at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Adult Protective Services, or needy individuals.

Materials and machines are supplied, you only need to bring yourself. From beginners to expert quilters, our group would love to work with you.

You get to work on whatever part of quilting you enjoy, whether it's quilting, piecing, color layout, or ironing, you get to spend your time doing what ever you like best.

DONATIONS of fabric, thread, or other sewing supplies are always needed. Just drop off donations on Mondays or call Georgia Tacconi at 528-1126. Fabric and supplies that cannot be used for quilting are given to a family sewing group in Corning.
